FAQs

  • If you’re struggling with mood, anxiety, focus, sleep, or any mental health concern that affects your daily life, seeking care can help. A consultation can determine whether medication, therapy, or a combination of both is right for you.

  • All services are currently provided virtually.

    • Initial psychiatric evaluations: 60-90 minutes

    • Follow-up medication management with brief psychotherapy: 20–30 minutes

  • Yes! I am currently in network with Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, and Aetna and working toward being in network with other insurances. If you don’t have one of these and would like to see me I can provide a superbill for you to submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement if you have those benefits.

  • Hopefully! I am in the process of becoming credentialed with insurance plans using Headway. If you’d like to be notified when I am in-network, please contact me to be added to the waitlist.

    • Initial psychiatric evaluations: $349

    • Follow-up appointments: $199

The benefit of private pay is that your treatment isn’t dictated by insurance companies. This allows us to focus on you, not what some company who knows nothing about you will approve. The Payment is due at the time of service, and I accept credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA payments. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.

  • I require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Late cancellations and missed appointments will be charged the full cost of the type of visit scheduled. Any adjustments to this policy will be determined on a case by case basis. I get it, life happens and things get missed or overlooked. We can check in about what happened and go from there.

  • Soulcraft Psych does not provide crisis/emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact a crisis hotline such as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988. Your safety is the priority, and immediate support is available through emergency services.

  • You can reach me by phone, email, or using the contact form linked above (the best option). Established patients can also contact me directly through their secure patient portal. Please note that these methods of contact are not for urgent matters—if you are experiencing a crisis, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

  • Absolutely you can. Therapy-politeness is not required here. If a well-placed F-bomb helps you express how deeply tired you are of continuing to be a human—I’m here for it. Be yourself, language and all.

  • Not at all. You might look “fine” on paper—holding down a job, keeping your plants alive, answering texts (mostly)—but still feel like everything’s quietly unraveling inside. That counts. You don’t need a crisis to deserve care.
